Individual Community Living Support (ICLS)

ICLS is a bundled service designed to help older adults (age 65 and older) enrolled in the Alternative Care (AC) program or Elderly Waiver (EW). It offers reminders, cues, occasional supervision, or hands-on help so individuals can continue living safely in their own homes.

What’s Included
ICLS provides support through six key service areas:

  • Active cognitive support

  • Adaptive support services

  • Help with activities of daily living (ADLs)

  • Household management assistance

  • Health, safety, and wellness support

  • Community living engagement

What’s Not Covered
ICLS does not cover:

  • Services that include fewer than two of the six components

  • Services already authorized under other state plan or EW programs

  • Specialized or adapted remote support equipment

  • Transportation mileage (see the transportation section for alternatives)
