Personal Care Assistance (PCA)/CFSS

(Personal Care Assistance / Community First Services and Supports)

Community First Services and Supports (CFSS) is a Minnesota program that helps individuals live more independently at home and in the community. CFSS is gradually replacing the Personal Care Assistance (PCA) program and the Consumer Support Grant (CSG).

We  offer flexible, person-centered PCA and CFSS services tailored to each person’s unique needs, preferences, and goals.

What Does CFSS Include?
CFSS provides the same essential support as PCA services, such as:

  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help with self-care tasks

  • Health-Related Tasks: As directed by a licensed health professional

  • Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs): Support with daily routines and responsibilities

  • Behavioral Support: Observation and redirection to promote safety and participation
